Italian Food
The best (and one of the very few) authentic Italian restaurant in central Texas is Numero 28 in downtown Austin owned and operated by my friends Marco and Bernardo. Ask them for recommendations for a true Italian experience.

For another true Italian experience, try Lucky’s Puccia & Pizzeria owned and run by Lucky Sibilla from Taranto (Puglia). Puccia are a type of bread/sandwich traditional in parts of Puglia (http://it.wikipedia.org/wiki/Puccia). Lucky prepares his fresh fire baked sandwich in a wood fire oven to order. He also makes amazing pizza and tiramisù.
